YOUR ROLE

  • You will be sought to complete engineering scope of operations capital projects (both brownfield and greenfield) on time, within budget, and within scope.
  • You will ensure timely development of project business case, charter and A4, ensure appropriate signoffs and coordinate decision (body) meetings such as steering committee.
  • Measure, track and report on project performance and milestones and proactively identify and address areas for improvements as well as risks and counter measures.
  • You will be the link between the projects engineering workstream and project manager and would need to align the deliverables between them.
  • You will be responsible for the project engineering workstream, delegate tasks to them and ensure a smooth project communication plan this may include writing mails, letters, and memos, compiling data for reports, creating presentations, preparing reports, and other information preparation duties.
  • You can identify and resolve project risks/issues, and regularly update or escalate issues to the sponsor (and steering committee) as needed.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as engineering lead in large projects covering all engineering functions.
  • Working experience in projects in manufacturing sites.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in liaising with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Teams, SharePoint, MS Project)
