YOUR ROLE
- Responsible for weekly Safety briefing on site, Monthly Safety meetings / Monthly SHE briefs
- Daily contractor area & plant rounds for Safety compliance, Method of statement preparation, Site safety induction for new joiners & visitors. Knowledge in process & plant risk assessments.
- Site PPE stock maintain / issue / record / compliance, CBS audit plan, execution & upload accident / incident, walk arounds in SPHERA (data base), Monthly Safety register update, Site contractor tools checking.
- Ensure fire safety equipment’s & onsite emergency response plan preparedness.
- Regional safety alert learning’s update in Data Base & preparation of near miss reports for site and its communication on site, Risk assessments for projects & plants, SHE master plan monthly update, Site SHE safety: breathing apparatus/ fire system / smoke & gas detection system
- All statutory requirement of DISH, PESO, MPCB, Sustainability reduction, To ensure zero incident/accident on site, To follow SHE checklist/ compliances as per company SHE policies, To conduct monthly SHE trainings as per calendar. Customer audit checklist compliance.
- To impart SHE related training to the employees, To ensure Legal compliances, To ensure implementation of Henkel SHE standard, To support Management for IMS, EnMS implementation, maintenance and continual improvements.
- Knowledge in Environmental safety management like STP operation as per the PCB standards, drive to minimize & monitoring energy consumption, waste generation, waste disposal methodology, mock drills, HIRA, EAI, DRA etc.
- SHE audits in a plant, Safety systems like machine guarding, chemical safety, electrical safety, warehouse safety, fire safety, environmental aspects & impacts, etc. Knowledge about Safe Work Permit, MOC, LOTOTO, Contractor safety management, Interlocks, Containment procedures, etc. CSR activities drive along with site team.
- Leading “Process Safety” activities for Adhesive Technologies sites to make process safety set up, conducted process risk assessments (DRAs, HAZOPs), ensure to compliance of process safety requirements with process safety internal audits
- Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of site process safety management system in site
- Develop and implement site specific safety protocols and procedures, ensuring alignment with local/regional regulations as well as Henkel Global process safety governance.
- Facilitate and or coordinate process safety hazard identification and risk assessment studies using an appropriate selection of suitable methodologies which may include HAZOP,LOPA, FMEA, Fault /Event Tree Analyses, Human Factors, Inherent Safer Design (ISD) and Risk Ranking etc.
- Lead or take part in process safety workplace inspections, audits, and reviews to assess compliance to PSM standards and to provide assurance of the effectiveness of agreed actions taken in response to process safety activities, e.g., incident investigations, DRAs, etc.
- Assist operations to prepare for compliance and or external audits. This involves collecting information, assisting with organising and planning, follow up and tracking the status of corrective actions.
YOUR SKILLS
- Minimum 8 years of relevant SHE working experience
- Should have a degree in B.E /B.Tech and Diploma in Industrial safety, Lead auditors ISO14001:2015, ISO45001:2018, ISO50001:2018, NEBOSH certification added advantage.
- Chemical Industry exposure is preferred
- Should posses good stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Leadership and strong listening skills.
